GRINDIN!!!
Im gettin ready for a busy week… I have so many things to do and not enough time to do them all so i must learn to prioritize… what the hell does that mean? exactly!!! Im gonna keep grindin!!! Each day i wake up and i thank GOD for the opportunity to breathe and be creative. I suggest you do the same. I have a show this friday April 4th at Trinity College for the Trinity international hip hop festival. I also have a show this saturday April 5th at AS220 in Providence. On sunday will be my send off party at The Blackstone before i take off for Canada eh… on monday with Joey Beats. BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! I gotta get my merch together and do a bunch of other silly little things that take up time and energy like pack. I hate packing. I hope i have a good trip. Im excited about meeting some new potential fans… lets see what happens. Ill keep yall posted. Does anyone even read this site? I want to give a big shout out to my boy Joey Beats and his artist Blak for inviting me on a 5 city tour this april. I join their already moving show in Albany, New York on April 3rd. We touchdown for Joeys homecoming show at AS220 on April 5th in Providence. On April 7th we will be leaving for Canada eh! April 8th we will be rocking in Kingston, Ontario… April 9th in London, Ontario and April 10th in Ottowa, Ontario. This will be my first official mini tour experience and i am greatly looking forward to it. It will also be my first trip to Canada eh! Call the mounties an tell em to keep the Molsons chilled cuz C-Boogie is coming to town. Last night i performed at Club Love in NYC for the 2nd anniversary LOve-Matic concert. New York City showed me some serious love last night. Thank You to my boy Oveous Maximus for throwing an amazing event and inviting me to share my work. I met some of the most talented poets and artists ever. Everyone was on point… big shouts to Turnstylez, Quetzal, Dave, Jonathan Sands, Loot, Soulful Jones, Fish and everyone else that performed. Big shout to Ketan for the conversation and free t shirts. Scion was definitely holding it down. It felt so good to be embraced by a crowd of fellow artists in the city of all cities. The staff at Club Love was on point and took good care of me. The club was crazy… it was so underground and secretive. It didnt even have a sign on the door or building. The hallway looked like the entrance to a haunted house but when you walked in it was its own cool world. Great vibe, great atmosphere, great sound and the crowd was fantastic. Thanks again Ove for a wonderful night. I want to thank everyone that purchased my cds and t shirts and big ups to everyone who was rockin with me thru my set and sendin me those positive vibrations… much appreciated. Im looking forward to the next one… They say if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere… last night, New York City gave me the motivation to start planning my travels around the world.
